The Viking invasion of Britain took place a long ago ( about 1,200 years ago in fact)…. they sailed in long boats up the River Ouse through what is now Goole settling in Jorvik (now known as York). Here’s a Viking in Goole!
Four days work with an amazing group of local kids and volunteers lead to the completion of a MASSIVE piece of Public Art right in the centre of Goole.
Big big thanks to Angela and Wise Youth for sorting the whole thing out.
